IRISH LABOUR HISTORY AT THE ANARCHIST BOOKFAIR, LIBERTY HALL DUBLIN, 29 MAY 2010
May 28th, 2010 by Conor McCabe
I’ll be manning the Irish Labour History Society stall tomorrow at the Anarchist bookfair.
Among the books for sale:
€3 - selected past issues of Saothar, or 4 for €10
€3 - Desmond Greaves, Irish Transport and General Workers’ Union: The Formative Years
€2 to €5 - selected books and pamphlets from James Connolly
€5 - Joe Deasy, The Fiery Cross: Life of Jim Larkin
€5 - selected pamphlets from the Studies in Irish Labour History series
€6 - The Story of the 1919 Limerick Soviet by D.R. O’Connor Lysaght (3rd edition)

Brillers, I’ll clean up on that!
Joined the ILHS recently, got the 2008 Saothar in the post as 2009 wasn’t ready yet. Is it printed, and if so do members get it free or does it cost dosh? Trust St. Patricks Athletic for a cup final to clash with the Annual Conference too.
See you tomorrow Conor.
That’s great Donal, see you tomorrow. The 2009 Saothar is ‘in the post’ as they say. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks all paid-up members will receive theirs by mail.
Trust St. Patricks Athletic for a cup final to clash with the Annual Conference too.
Well if you were any kind of historian you’d have gone to the conference….
… you’d know Pats never win cup finals : )
