NOW THIS IS A BIT SCARY

Google has just digitized the streets of Zaragoza, and it’s the first time I’ve used Google Earth to look at a place where I’ve actually lived. And I’m not too sure I like it. They’ve been going around the streets of Dublin as well, but it’s not up yet. However, the photo above is the entrance to the first place I lived when I moved there in 2007.
This one below is of one of my favourite shops, which sold second-hand electrical goods.
And this is a bar where I used to go most Saturday afternoons for intercambio.
Now there’s nobody in the photos here, but on Google Earth the detail is frightening. what seemed a curiosity when looking at the streets of New York, now feels a little like an invasion of privacy, and I don’t even live there anymore. What’s Dublin going to be like when it’s up?
