So we’re in excellent company. I’ll be at the glittering awards ceremony at the Alexander Hotel for Dublin Opinion and I shall remain witty and urbane, well if not throughout, then at least until I’ve finished my first pint.

Though happy with this result Ben was considerably irked by the fact that his Property Market Causes Ireland to Shit its Brain article didn’t make it into the Most Humourous Post category.

“We cannot show hate”, I said trying to calm his ire, “when clearly there is so much love out there, being directed at us, with not inconsiderable force. We cannot say that they are wrong on one point, while accepting another decision which happens to be in our favour. We’ve been looking for love for so long, Ben, its wrong of us to turn our backs on it now…… Ben?”

But there was only silence on the other end of the line and then it went dead as he hung up the phone.

This morning when I checked my email, however, I found the following in my inbox….

It’s the legendary Daniel Johnson with True Love Will Find You in the End.
